Camus On Christians and Suffering

care to provide the context for taht quote...sounds a bit extreme

Camus' point is that we cannot put our faith in a God who allows suffering and not be willing to suffer ourselves. We cannot offer up platitiudes to those who are suffering. We must either refuse to follow a God who allows suffering or accept suffering as our lot as well.
